Winter solstice, or often called hibernal solstice or midwinter, occurs when Earth’s rotational axis, or its geographical Northern pole, is most greatly inclined away from Sun. PyeongChang 2018

Seal-01The 2018 Winter Olympics or commonly known as PyeongChang 2018 will be held on 9 to 25 February in Pyeongchang county, South Korea. The opening ceremony will take place on 9 February, while the closing ceremony will take place on 25 February. PyeongChang 2018 will feature 102 events in 15 sports, making it the first Winter Olympics to surpass 100 medal events. Continue reading
