Artists, have you participated on this year’s Inktober? Inktober is a drawing challenge taken by artists all around the world by doing one ink drawing a day for the entire month of October. Inktober is created by artist Jake Parker in 2009, to improve inking skills and develop positive drawing habits. It has since grown into a worldwide endeavor with thousands of artists taking on the challenge every year.
Each year, an official prompt list is issued for Inktober. Each prompt is a single word to be used as a theme for the ink drawing. It is not mandatory to follow the prompt list, however, following the prompt list in order will see what everybody creates on the same day using the same prompt and how much variety and creativity there is inside of a single word.
This year, Adora is also participating in Inktober, and has consistently produced ink drawings every day according to the prompt list. Let us cheer her so she manage to join Inktober until the end of October!
If you have never joined Inktober before, this year’s is the perfect time to start and hone your drawing skill!
