Hero of July: Malala Yousafzai
Our woman hero of July is Malala Yousafzai! Malala, who was born on 12 July 1997, is a Pakistani who is known for human rights advocacy, especially the education of women and children in her native Swat Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northwest Pakistan, where the local Taliban, a terrorist group, had at times banned girls from attending school. Malala is the youngest Nobel Prize laurate, receiving the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize for her struggle against the suppression of children and young people, and for the right of all children to education. Malala, who was 17 years old at that time, shared the prize with Kailash Satyarthi, a children’s rights activist from India. Continue reading

Mud Festival!
This summer, there are a lot of great festivals held in South Korea. One of them is the Buyeo Seodong Lotus Festival. And the top festival, which is visited by millions of visitors each year, is Boryeong Mud Festival. This year, the mud festival is held on 13-22 July 2018 in Daecheon beach area in Boryeong town, 200 km south of Seoul, South Korea.
